My Life in a Nutshell
In 1983, I received N5,000 in products and a shop as a settlement. With that, I started a female shoes business at Balogun Market which was later razed during Major General Muhammadu Buhari & Brigadier General Tunde Idiagbon’s rule. Later, for N10,000, I liquidated what remained of my shoe business and switched to selling pharmaceuticals.
I registered Leton Pharmacy after selling drugs and it eventually evolved into the industry leader, Greenlife Pharmaceuticals Limited.
22 years after finishing secondary school, I returned to school and earned degrees in Business Administration from the University of Lagos and Corporate Governance from Leeds Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. I also received honorary doctorate degrees from Commonwealth University in Belize and London Graduate School, as well as an honorary pharmacy award (Hon. PSN) from the Pharmaceuticals Council of Nigeria (PCN) and the Pharmaceuticals Society of Nigeria (PSN).
